How to export the MetaTrader 4 report

The file you get

One .htm file: StrategyTester.htm (tester) or DetailedStatement.htm (detailed account statement).

Steps

1. Tester: run the test in the Strategy Tester.
2. On the Results or Report tab, right-click and choose 'Save as Report'.
3. Account statement: in the Terminal window, Account History tab, right-click > All History (or a custom period).
4. Right-click again > 'Save as Detailed Report'.

Where to upload it

In the field 'Your platform report'.

Before you upload

• The .gif image saved next to it is not needed.
• If you export only part of the statement, the initial balance comes from the summary and is reported as Declared.
• The MT4 tester already deducts commission and swap from each profit but does not itemise them, so the audit cannot measure them separately.
• The file only holds closed trades: the floating drawdown inside each trade is reported as Not measured.
